Sagacity Health

Terms of Service

The plain-English agreement between you and Sagacity Health. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Last updated 12 July 2026.

Who we are

Sagacity Health is a faith-based health and wellbeing companion run by Denise Parris, a Nutritional Therapist registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). You can reach us at hello@sagacitynetwork.app.

Who can use it

You need to be 18 or over to use Sagacity Health. By creating an account you confirm that you are.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and your details accurate. You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Let us know if you think someone else has got into it.

This is support, not medical care

Sagacity Health helps you steward your wellbeing — it does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it is not a substitute for advice from your GP, dietitian or other qualified professional. Its guidance is educational and evidence-based, but general — it doesn’t know your full medical picture. Always speak to a professional about your own situation before making significant changes, and never ignore or delay medical advice because of something in the app.

If you’re in crisis or it’s an emergency, contact your GP, call NHS 111, the Samaritans on 116 123, or 999.

If you choose to share your journey with our practitioner, any notes or encouragement she leaves you are general wellbeing guidance in the same spirit — not a diagnosis, prescription or treatment plan, and not a formal clinical or practitioner–client relationship unless you and she arrange one separately. The same applies: check anything important with your own GP or qualified professional.

The kitchen companion (AI)

The “adapt a dish” feature uses AI to suggest ways to adapt a meal. It’s a helpful starting point, not a prescription — it can occasionally get things wrong or miss something about your situation. Use your judgement, and check anything important with a professional.

Membership & payment

The heart of Sagacity Health is free to use. An optional Founding Member membership costs £50 per year. “Locked forever” means that for as long as you remain a Founding Member and Sagacity Health runs as a paid service, your price stays £50/year — even as we add more.

When paid membership goes live, you’ll have the right to cancel within 14 days of signing up for a refund, in line with UK consumer law, unless you’ve asked to start using the paid features straight away and have used them. You can cancel any time; your membership then runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for. (At the moment no payment is taken through the app — expressing interest simply lets us contact you.)

Using it well

Please use Sagacity Health for its purpose — your own wellbeing — and not to break the law, harm others, or interfere with how the app runs. We may suspend or close an account that’s being misused.

What you write

Your journal entries, logs and reflections are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only so far as we need to in order to run the app for you — we don’t claim ownership of them and we don’t sell them.

Keeping it running

We work to keep Sagacity Health available and improving, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable, and we may add, change or retire features over time. It’s an early-stage app built with care, not a critical service to rely on.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for things the law doesn’t allow us to limit — such as death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, because Sagacity Health is a wellbeing companion rather than professional care, we’re not responsible for decisions you make based on general guidance in the app — that’s what the “not medical care” section above is about.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. When you do, your data is removed as described in our privacy notice.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; we’ll change the date at the top and tell you in the app if it’s significant. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and any disputes fall to the courts of England & Wales.
